Ljerka Očić is one of Croatia’s most prominent musicians, and in the course of her most successful career she has performed all over the world. She is the professor of organ and chamber music at the Academy of Music in Zagreb. She is also a writer, and an accomplished painter with several successful solo exhibitions behind her.

As the mentor, Ljerka Očić was awarded two acknowledgements by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, and the Education and Teacher Training Agency for the two first prizes won by her students at the 45th State Competition for Pupils and Students of Music and Dance.

On Thursday, May 24, a concert will be performed at the "Franjo Dugan Society for the Promotion of Organ Art", on occasion of receiving the “Milka Trnina” diploma. The students of the Music Academy in Zagreb, who study in prof. Ljerka Očić’s organ and chamber music class, will perform the concert.
